PFLAG Sonora/Mother Lode meets on the third Tuesday of January, April, July, and October, at 6:30 p.m., at the Tuolumne County Library. Plus we have other events scheduled throughout the year. Check out the calendar and newsletter to see what's going on.
MEETING NOTES FROM APRIL 15, 2008
We met on tax day with 5 in attendance.
The chapter will not be participating in the Mother Lode Round-Up Parade this year. We had four people last year and no interest in participating was expressed by the membership this year.
Our date for Community Feud is Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at SRT. Doors open at 6:30 and the fun starts at 7:00. We have 25 tickets which are available from Jerry, Jane, and myself. We purchased these tickets for $10 and are asking $15.00 for them (or more, if you are so inclined), the excess going to the chapter. If you want to attend but can't afford a ticket, please don't be embarrassed to contact one of us (almost everyone has been there at one time or another). Often people will buy tickets and donate them back so they are available to others.
We discussed Out In The Mother Lode's Pride Picnic in June. Jerry advised that invitations will be going out soon. If you don't get an invitation in the next several weeks then contact Jerry at Sierra HOPE. (The link is to the left.)
